UYN technicians have developed a material with an innovative structure that combines the properties of knitted fabrics with the ability to retain heat. The three-dimensional and soft surface traps the hot air in conical bearings ("buffer cones") thus generating an insulating layer. Unlike common fleece fabrics, Buffercone fabric has a variable density. Based on the mapping of the distribution of heat produced by the human body, it is possible to create areas with high, medium and low insulating power.
